In 2026, we will take another step in the growth of CLASSworks TechQuest in Kenya. The program aligns directly with the Competency-Based Education (CBE) curriculum, specifically within the Pre-Technical Studies learning area. In it, much emphasis is placed on digital literacy, design learning and developing problem-solving skills.
With TechQuest 2026, we are involving 30 new schools in the program. Students work with Leaphy robots and learn programming through hands-on assignments, creative design and building solutions to real-world challenges. For each school, we train several teachers so that they can work confidently, independently and sustainably with the learning tools.
Through this expansion, we are not only strengthening students’ technical and digital skills, but at the same time building the professionalization of school teams. Thus, TechQuest is growing into a powerful tool within the implementation of CBE in Kenya.
