We’re hiring 5 regional freelance trainers to join our team in January 2025.
One trainer position is open in each of the following regions:
- Mombasa
- Nyeri
- Machakos
- Kisumu
- Special Needs Education (SNE) trainer in Nairobi
Vacancy Requirements:
- 3 years teaching and/or training experience
- Diploma or degree in education is highly preferred for all candidates including the special needs trainer
- Experience in the Competency Based Curriculum (CBC) is highly preferred
- Adult training experience and knowledge of the Kenya Basic Education Curriculum Framework (BECF) is an advantage
- Strong communication and presentation skills
- Ability to adapt training to varying teacher levels
- Creative and proactive
- Clear understanding of National education goals
- Ability to operate effectively in a fast-paced environment
- Must be flexible and willing to work adaptably to changing circumstances
- Must also possess demonstrated problem solving and conflict management skills
- Proficient in digital skills
- Have access to a laptop and Internet connectivity
- Available at least 8 working days per month
- Diploma or degree in Special Needs Education (SNE trainer)
- For the SNE trainer, experience working with Learners with Disabilities (LWDs)
Responsibilities:
- Undertake and deliver training workshops in our program schools
- Work with the DEAN team to ensure smooth implementation of the program
- Maintain strong communication, ensuring smooth flow of information
- Meet program reporting deliverables
- SNE trainer to provide itinerant services in areas of specialization
