Overview

TechQuest

CBE-aligned programming and robotics

Is TechQuest right for my school?

Use this overview to check whether TechQuest matches your school’s goals, context, and readiness for CBE implementation.

A good fit if your school:

  • Is implementing or transitioning to the Competency-Based Education (CBE) curriculum
  • Wants learners to build real digital skills through structured coding and robotics projects
  • Is willing to invest time in teacher training and follow-up
  • Is open to structured, hands-on learning as part of classroom practice or CSL projects

Less suitable if your school:

  • Is only looking for one-off coding workshops or demonstrations
  • Expects learners to progress without trained teachers and structured guidance
  • Is not ready to involve school leadership in implementation and follow-up

Common challenges in digital skills implementation

Lack of trained teachers

Teachers lack experience to teach coding and robotics consistently.

Tools without a learning pathway

Robotics kits or devices are not used in a learning progression.

Unstructured clubs and activities

Coding activities exist but are not structured, assessed, or sustained.

Training without classroom impact

Training does not consistently translate into daily classroom practice
